How to Apply
Where to Apply
Muscle and nerves are long segments of connected tissue, that end in a joint that gives you flexible movement ability in your arms, legs, etc. Trigger points are places that have a connection to nerves / muscles, which can, when stimulated, cause rapid relaxation and relief from muscle tightness along an entire muscle segment. Trigger points are often at the area the muscle begins or ends in a joint. The most successful way to create rapid relaxation of a tight muscle is to loosen tension at the beginning point of the muscle and at the end. Consequently, applying Relief Salve at each end of the muscle creates the best opportunity for relaxing the muscle along its entire length, thereby decreasing tightness, stiffness and discomfort. Take care to thoroughly rub salve into the muscle so it penetrates deeply. The deeper the penetration of the salve into the muscle, the faster and more complete the relief will be.
How to Apply
Apply a small amount and rub in a circular motion all around the joints and along the hurting muscle segment. Imagine the muscle is a long stick, and apply Relief Salve at the top and bottom of the stick and in-between these two points. This provides application between these two points, creating more complete relief along the entire segment. No part of the irritation can escape Relief Salve! Doing this 3 - 4x a day decreases the risk of further problems and begins to diminish the present problem. No matter how detailed you are about application, CONSISTENT 3 - 4x a day is critical for getting a decrease in severe chronic irritation. Remember you are not taking pills that affect your entire body from inside-out, even those organs you don't want affected. You are applying Relief Salve directly to a problem and giving it time to penetrate deep down into and throughout the affected area, by repeated application of the product.
How to Choose Appropriate Salve
Everyone's body is different and what helps or hurts another varies from person to person. In general, these descriptive patterns may help you decide. Keep in mind its a goal to start with the lowest level of any type of remedy, whether it's natural or chemical. Increase the strength of Salve with stronger discomfort, as needed.
Many will find it helpful to have all three levels so that problems can always be matched with the right Relief # for best results, with the least amount of intervention.
